Fly Fishing clothes
Waders
The fly fisherman can, but usually do not remain on the banks of the river waiting for the fish to reach him. No, he dons his boots and goes out to meet the fish.
Vest
No self-respecting fly fisherman will be without a fishing vest. With the left box deal safely in the bank or in the car these multi-pocketed vests allow the fly fisherman to bring with him, in the middle of the river, everything you need for a successful fishing trip. A fishing vest should have a storage place for everything the fly fisherman wants to take with him - including his lunch. Ideally there should be a variety of bags of different sizes to accommodate large and small teams, plus, of course, the camera. Different vests may be required for the summer and winter to ensure the comfort in any season.
Zancudas are an essential piece of gear for the fly fisherman.
Zancudas need to be tough and durable, but also breathable. They have to maintain the dry fly fisherman and warm. Zancudas that are multi-layer tend to be more resistant to punctures and the resulting soggy end to the day’s fishing. The fly fisherman must find waders that are suitable for the type of fishing you plan to do. Some are suitable for immersion in saltwater others not. Some have knee, which makes it easier to go some distance in the water. When purchased most of the new waders include a repair kit too!
Underclothing
The most important consideration for underclothing is that the user should be kept dry by moving moisture from the body - this is called “drainage by capillarity.” To control the temperature fly fisherman simply adjust the number of layers leads to coincide with the current conditions.
Hats, gloves and goggles
In the days of sun glasses and hats are essential to protect from the sun and also for the fisherman to see fish fly through the reflections of the sun on water. The gloves are largely a matter of personal preference with some fishermen to fly the choice of not carrying any at all.
